Every maintenance contract is tailored to best benefit the customer. Maintenance contracts are available to forklift trucks of any brand, model and age. As a maintenance contract customer you are always entitled to priority support in repairs.

Examples of service prices

Every forklift model has its own maintenance program. It depends on the usage rate of the forklift and the operating environment how often scheduled maintenance should be carried out. In addition to regular maintenance costs may also arise from for example tyres, batteries and wear-out parts. Below you can find a couple of examples of different forklift types and their regular maintenance costs.

Electric forklift

Jungheinrich EFG-316K

The maintenance interval for the electric Jungheinrich is 1000 hours or 1 year. Every second service is slightly higher, as hydraulic oils and brake fluids must be replaced every 2000 hours.
The following cost example for forklift maintenance includes maintenance work, mileage 30 kilometres away, and necessary maintenance parts and small equipment. The price does not include parts or additional work outside the service program.

Stabilized stacker

Rocla SST16 AC TREV5400

Rocla's popular stacker's service intervals are 600 hours (every 6 months) and 1200 hours (every year). This price example is for the 600-hour service and the parts needed for it. The price includes labor, service parts, small parts and mileage (max 30 km from Järvenpää). The price does not inlcude any extra work or parts that are not included in the regular maintenance program.

Diesel forklift

Linde H50D

The service interval for the popular Linde diesel model is 1000 hours. The cost example of the 1000-hour maintenance includes maintenance work, maintenance parts (filters, etc.), oils, small parts and driving to on-site (up to 30 km from Järvenpää). The price does not include any work or parts outside the regular service program.

Inspection of
person lifts

Lifting persons with an aerial work platform or any other equipment is strictly regulated. The Finnish law states that all equipment used for lifting people must be inspected yearly by a certified inspector. On top of the yearly inspections, a more thorough inspection must be carried out every 10 years. Our team of experts includes a certified inspector who can help you maintain a safe fleet of lift equipment.

When equipped with an approved man basket, a counterbalance forklift or a stabilized pallet stacker can also be used for lifting people. However, the forklift must meet some requirements. The lift capacity of the forklift truck must exceed the actual load (basket + person) by at least 5 times. The lifting and lowering speed of the forklift may not exceed 0.3 m/s. This means that most counterbalance forklift models need adjustments or a special device to slow down the speeds. If the forklift truck's lift height exceeds 6 metres, the basket must be equipped with and emergency cut-off switch. The man basket and the forklift truck used for lifting are always inspected as a single unit. The forklift truck will also undergo a thorough inspection and any flaws (oil leaks etc.) and malfunctions must be repaired before it can be approved for lifting people. If you wish to use your forklift truck for lifting people, we can provide the inspection services as well as the possible modifications needed. We also rent approved baskets.
